Geopolitical expert Fareed Zakaria on Friday said that the United States is trying to de-escalate the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iraq. Speaking to India Today TV, Zakaria explained that the Biden administration is working to prevent a major escalation in the conflict while supporting Israel in striking Iranian targets.
"The US is trying to convince Israel to strike Iran, but in a way that is not dangerously escalatory," Zakaria said.
