Waaree Energies Limited has announced key leadership changes following the outcome of its board meeting held on March 20, 2026. The company stated that Amit Ashok Paithankar has resigned from his position as Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from March 20, 2026, earlier than the previously indicated date of May 15, 2026. The decision was mutually agreed between the company and Paithankar.

The board has approved the appointment of Jignesh Devchandbhai Rathod as the new Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from March 21, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Rathod, who has been associated with the company since November 2007, will serve a term of five years until March 20, 2031.

In addition, the company noted the cessation of Sonal Shrivastava as Chief Financial Officer at the close of business hours on March 20, 2026, following the completion of her notice period.

The board has approved the appointment of Abhishek Pareek as the new Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel with effect from March 21, 2026. Pareek has been with the company since September 2017 and currently serves as Group Finance Head.

The leadership reshuffle reflects a broader transition within the company’s senior management, with new appointments aligned to operational and financial functions.

Shares of Waaree Energies Limited closed at ₹3,145.00, down ₹10.90 or -0.35% on the NSE.
