Who Is Karoline Leavitt, The Youngest White House Press Secretary?

Leavitt gained recognition as the spokesperson of Trump’s transition team due to her strong defence of him in the media during the election campaign.

Hailing from New Hampshire, her journey to the new position has come this long due to her notable communication skills and loyalty to Trump. She entered politics as a summer intern in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence ahead of starting senior year in college.

After her graduation, she became a part of the White House Press Office as an assistant press secretary under Kayleigh McEnany in Trump’s first presidency from 2017 to 2021.

However, after Trump lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 Presidential polls, Leavitt served as communications director for Republican Representative Elise Stefanik, who was Trump’s pick for the UN ambassador.

In 2022, she contested the New Hampshire House seat and won the Republican primary, however, went on to lose to Democrat Chris Pappas.

She joined the Trump campaign and led communications for the Presidential race and transition team.
