'Who's Funding Them': Elon Musk's Reply After Social Media Post Claims Facebook Link To Tesla Protests

Amid large-scale protests and vandalism against Tesla showrooms in the US, a social media post has claimed a Facebook link to “funding" these activities.

To this, Tesla maker Elon Musk responded: “Interesting. Who is funding them?"

According to the post, since Musk-owned X is “monitored by pro Elon people", the protests are being “organized through facebook groups". Tagging Musk, the post said they had an informant “infiltrate" one of the protests in front of a Tesla dealership and got their information from the people gathered at the site.

The post had a picture of a number of “anti-Elon" chants written on a piece of paper, which they claimed was in possession of the protesters at the site. “Yesterday I had an informant infiltrate one of the protests at Tesla dealerships and they told her a few things: 1. These protests are only happening in contested congressional districts 2. They’re being funded by 501c4 charities being given dark money from Democrat politicians of these districts 3. They’re organized through facebook groups since ???? is monitored by pro Elon people," the post on X stated.
