The BJP has revolved its election campaign in Maharashtra and Jharkhand around the call to unite the SC-ST and OBC communities through the “Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai" and “Batenge Toh Katenge" slogans.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had used the “Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai" slogan at a Maharashtra rally while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had coined the “Batenge Toh Katenge" slogan during the Haryana election campaign. Both slogans have remained the core of BJP’s campaign in Maharashtra and Jharkhand as the party attempts to unite the Hindu votes.
