US House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced to help India with his nation’s “energy and resources" in its fight against terrorism. This came days after the Donald Trump administration extended support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack.
“India has to stand against terrorism. We will do everything possible to support those efforts. Trump administration will help India with energy and resources to fight terrorism," Johnson said.
On April 22, terrorists opened fire in the scenic town of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, killing 26 people.
