Xiaomi is finally bringing the Android 15-based HyperOS version for its devices and here are the details you need.
These Redmi, Xiaomi and Poco phones will be getting the Android 15 update soon
Xiaomi has announced the rollout schedule of its new HyperOS 2, which is its latest UI built on top of the Android 15 version. Lei Jun, CEO, Xiaomi released the global plan for the new update via a post on X. The update was officially announced last month and is said to come with upgraded aesthetics, new animations, Xiaomi’s cross-device connectivity and more significant features.
Xiaomi HyperOS 2 Update: What To Expect
According to Xiaomi, the global version of the upcoming HyperOS 2 will include a customised lock screen, dynamic effects across screens when navigating the interface, and a 3D real-time weather system that, according to the company, attempts to simulate the true atmospheric conditions around you.
Additionally, it also has an Upgraded Xiaomi Interconnectivity which allows users to utilise and pin apps seamlessly between devices, while playback transfer allows you to easily transfer music to a Xiaomi speaker. The company has also introduced a suite of HyperAI-powered applications, including AI lock screen backgrounds, real-time translations, generative AI for picture editing and AI-assisted writing capabilities.
As per the official schedule, the first set of devices will get the HyperOS 2 update by the end of this month. Here is the full list of the Xiaomi/Redmi phones that will be getting the new version:

Apart from smartphones, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro will also be getting the update this month. In addition to these, Xiaomi will be updating these devices in December.
