Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launch is expected early next year but the rumour mill suggests the new flagship will have multiple upgrades.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be one of the most anticipated flagships in 2026 and there are already leaks which tells us a lot about the new product. The 2025 Ultra model got a decent response and Samsung showed its focus on making a premium device that can challenge the Pro Max of the market.

Samsung has gone with early launches in the last few years and we expect the Galaxy S26 Ultra to be announced in January 2026 as well. The new flagship device could be part of the latest Galaxy Unpacked edition from the company.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra design is not going to be very different from the S25 Ultra but we do expect subtle changes and refinements that could bring slight visual improvements. The display on the S26 Ultra is rumored to get a new privacy display which negates the use of third-party screen protectors.

The new Galaxy S26 Ultra (along with other S26 models) will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and hopefully the brand increases to 16GB RAM. The device will need the extra memory to keep the Galaxy AI ticking in full flow.

Camera is one aspect of the Galaxy S26 Ultra where the upgrades might be limited once again. The triple camera setup is more or less guaranteed but we are hoping that Samsung tweaks the sensors and gives more power for the shutterbugs.

Will Samsung finally adopt silicon carbon tech for its battery? We’re not sure about most rumours suggesting the Galaxy S26 Ultra could see a charging boost which could give the device 60W charging support.
