In a video that surfaced on X, Field Marshall Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, claimed that he invoked divine intervention while referring to tensions with India earlier in May when New Delhi launched Operation Sindoor after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Speaking in Urdu during a public address, Munir cited a Quranic verse — “If Allah helps you, none can overcome you" — and suggested that Pakistan had experienced Allah’s support in its confrontation with India. Using metaphorical and religious imagery, he said divine help was “felt" and implied that angels were prepared to descend in support, framing this as evidence of faith and righteousness.

In Operation Sindoor the Indian Air Force (IAF) destroyed several terror camps deep inside Pakistan, cratered runways of important air bases of Pakistan and destroyed of several air defence radars.
