Authum Investment & Infrastructure Limited on Friday (July 11) said it has entered into a binding agreement to acquire stakes in Katra Phytochem (India) Private Limited (KPPL) and Kerala Ayurveda Limited (KAL) as part of a broader strategic restructuring initiative.
Under the agreement, Authum will acquire 27,00,000 equity shares and subscribe to an additional 1,15,00,000 equity shares of KPPL at ₹171.50 per share, resulting in a controlling 60.95% stake in the nutraceutical company.
Katra Phytochem (India) Private Limited, engaged in the manufacture of carotenoids and other nutraceutical products, reported a turnover of ₹138.28 crore and a net worth of ₹116.50 crore in FY25.

Additionally, Authum will acquire 18,00,000 equity shares of Kerala Ayurveda Limited at ₹558.65 per share, representing a 14.96% stake in the ayurvedic wellness firm. Kerala Ayurveda Limited posted a turnover of ₹122.15 crore and a net worth of ₹12.89 crore for FY25.
Kerala Ayurveda Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling ayurvedic medicines, providing ayurveda treatment services across clinics, hospitals and wellness resorts and teaching ayurveda to students across the world.
These transactions, aimed at settling existing obligations and enhancing operational efficiency, will be completed within three months. With the KPPL acquisition, the company will gain a new subsidiary to support its long-term value creation plans.
