Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa lit up on Wednesday night with images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark his 75th birthday.
The world’s tallest building illuminated the city’s skyline with portraits of the Indian leader and birthday messages, symbolising the strengthening partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
UAE PRESIDENT EXTENDS WARM WISHES
Earlier in the day, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended an open-hearted greeting on social media. “Sincere congratulations to Narendra Modi on your birthday. I wish you continued good health and happiness, and ongoing success in advancing India’s progress and the prosperity of its people,” he posted on X.

The gesture was received across the board as a demonstration of the strengthening bond and good fellowship between the two countries.

World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised Modi's leadership while wishing him. "Happy 75th birthday, Prime Minister @narendramodi! I am impressed by your leadership in action. Even on your special day, you are initiating an important initiative to promote and protect women's health in India," he posted.
The United Kingdom's King Charles also symbolically marked the occasion. He gifted a Kadamb tree to the Indian Prime Minister, motivated by the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. The British High Commission informed on X, "His Majesty The King has been graciously pleased to send a Kadamb tree to India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. The gesture shows their mutual dedication to environmental protection.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni were some of the other global leaders who offered their warmest wishes.

Replying to the greetings, PM Modi expressed that he was overwhelmed by the warmest wishes pouring in from leaders and citizens across the globe.
He highlighted that such warm wishes encourage him to keep striving for India's development and the welfare of its citizens.
