Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday shared several key initiatives and decisions taken by her government, announcing a new scheme providing ₹6,000 in financial assistance to persons with disabilities in the national capital.
In a series of posts on X, in which she addressed the Delhi Legislative Assembly, she said, “No school in Delhi can increase its fees at its own discretion," emphasising the government’s stance on regulating school fee hikes.
She also highlighted efforts to improve organ donation in the city, stating, “There was no systematic platform for organ donation in Delhi. After forming the government, we established the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO) for Organ Donation. Through this, organ donation was systematised."
On social welfare initiatives, Gupta noted the government’s progress on Atal Canteens, saying, “We had promised to build 100 Atal Canteens. So far, 45 have been built, and the remaining 55 will also be constructed by the Rekha Gupta government."

She further announced a new scheme to support persons with disabilities in the city: “We have launched a new scheme to provide financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to persons with disabilities in Delhi."

The Delhi CM also launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Gupta alleged that the party is uncomfortable with a woman leading the state and accused its leaders of selectively editing her speeches and circulating misleading videos.
She said there is a difference between an inadvertent slip of the tongue and making false statements deliberately before the public. Gupta further alleged that past actions and remarks by AAP leaders, including comments made in the Assembly and alleged insults to Sikh Gurus, were done consciously and not by mistake.
The remarks were made on the final day of the Delhi Assembly’s winter session, which was extended by a day due to disruptions over alleged comments by AAP leader and former Chief Minister Atishi Marlena.
