Does Elon Musk's 14th child with Shivon Zilis have Punjabi roots?

Billionaire entrepreneur, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, has welcomed another child into his growing family. He recently had his 14th child, a son named Seldon Lycurgus, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. This marks their fourth child together.

After the birth announcement, social media buzzed with speculation about Zilis' background. A Wikipedia article highlighting her Punjabi heritage quickly made waves online. Users on platform X say that she might be of Indian descent.

Shivon Zilis was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, to a Caucasian Canadian father and a Punjabi mother. Even though she has mixed heritage, she once said in an interviewer," I "pretty much turned out white, but I got the big eyes from the Punjabi side."

Seldon is the fourth child of the couple. They had twins Strider and Azure in 2021 and a daughter, Arcadia, in 2024. Although Ms. Zilis has maintained a relatively low-key profile, her association with Musk's businesses, such as Neuralink and OpenAI, has drawn into significant limelight. She has also been listed in Forbes' 30 Under 30 for achievements in the tech sector.

Besides his children with Zilis, Musk has children from other marriages. He has five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson, including twins and triplets. His firstborn, Nevada Alexander Musk, died when he was just 10 weeks old. Musk also has three children with artist Grimes and is rumoured to have a 13th child with conservative social media influencer Ashley St Clair.

Musk has frequently discussed the low birth rate, referring to it as a huge threat to civilization. He has donated $10 million to birth rate research and regularly urges people to have more children. He recently complimented Japan's efforts to boost birth rates and expressed worry about China's shrinking population.
