Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Monday weighed in on the reports of the possibility of him contesting the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections, and said that his preference has “always been Bihar and Biharis".
Paswan emphasised that he wants to see Bihar as a developed state, which he said, “is not possible if I am in Delhi."
“I have said that for a long time, I don’t see myself in central leadership. My preference has always been Bihar and Biharis. I want to see Bihar as a developed state, and I think this is not possible if I am in Delhi. I said I want to go back to Bihar. And I think if the party wants and I get a good strike rate, I would want to fight," he said.
