Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, January 20, 2025, in a historic ceremony at the US Capitol.
Trump will become the second president ever to serve non-consecutive terms, after President Grover Cleveland, with Trump serving as the 45th and 47th US president. He will be the first criminally-convicted and second-oldest president to hold office as Commander in Chief.
The event will feature an array of high-profile attendees, including celebrities, foreign dignitaries, and business leaders, marking the beginning of Trump’s non-consecutive second term in office.

Notable absences and reactions
Russian President Vladimir Putin was not invited, though Trump hinted at a separate meeting later.
