FBI Director Kash Patel on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed 26 lives, and assured the Indian government of continued support.
He called the April 22 attack a stark reminder of the “constant threats" the world faces from the “evils of terrorism" and expressed condolences to the victims of the attack.
“The FBI sends our condolences to all the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Kashmir — and will continue offering our full support to the Indian government," Patel wrote.
“This is a reminder of the constant threats our world faces from the evils of terrorism. Pray for those affected. Thank you to the men and women of law enforcement who answer the call in moments like these," he added.

Terrorists sprayed bullets on dozens of people in Pahalgam on Tuesday, killing at least 26, mostly tourists, in the deadliest attack in the Valley since the 2019 Pulwama attack.
The already strained ties between India and Pakistan plunged to a new low after the Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed responsibility for the attack.
