Godfrey Phillips shares jumped 10% in trade on Tuesday, February 18, extending gains for the third-straight day.
The stock gained 10% to hit an intraday high of ₹7,741.8 apiece. It has rallied 54.84% in three trade sessions.
The cigarette maker reported a 48.7% increase in its December quarter net profit at ₹315.9 crore against ₹212.4 crore in the previous fiscal.
The company's revenue from operations surged 27.3% to ₹1,591.2 crore compared to ₹1,249.6 crore in the third quarter last year.
At the operating level, its EBITDA gained 57.6% to ₹358.8 crore against ₹227.7 crore in the third quarter last fiscal. EBITDA margin expanded to 22.6% in the December quarter from 18.2% in the previous year.
The stock was trading 7.45% higher at ₹7,562 apiece at 11.10 am on Tuesday, February 18. It has risen 70.3% in the past month.
