Days after a video of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav dancing with youngsters in Patna went viral, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor mocked the former’s abilities across various fields.
Speaking to reporters in Gaya on Thursday, Kishor commented on the video, saying, “We knew that Tejashwi is not very good at studying. Then we learned that he’s not good at playing cricket either. Now we know that he can’t dance as well."

The viral clip of the former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister was widely shared on social media, showing him engaging in light-hearted dance moves during an informal gathering. While his supporters defended the video as a sign of his youthful and relatable image, critics like Kishor seized the moment to question his seriousness and capabilities as a leader.
Kishor’s remarks reflect the intensifying political rivalry ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, where his Jan Suraaj aims to position itself as a credible alternative to established players like the RJD and JD(U).
On Wednesday, Kishor announced he is willing to contest the upcoming state elections if his party’s election committee approves it.
He delivered a sharp message to the people of Bihar, urging them to recognise their power in shaping the state’s future. The Jan Suraaj founder said recent developments show how people’s participation alone can bring about real change.
“People have seen that just by attending these gatherings, the pension in Bihar increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1100," he said.

He added that Bihar’s people have far more power than they realise. “If the people wake up, they will realise that the key to the treasury is in their hands," he said.
He stated that after the upcoming Chhath festival, there would be a shift in the state’s economic reality regardless of who forms the next government.
“After Chhath, regardless of who forms the government, boys from Bihar will not go out to work as labourers," he remarked.
His comments come amid widespread dissatisfaction with unemployment, poor infrastructure, and mass migration — issues that continue to plague Bihar despite multiple governments promising change.
