Currently, PM Modi is on a two-day official visit to Israel, and was conferred with the highest honour of the Knesset — “Speaker of the Knesset Medal" — by the Israeli Parliament on Wednesday. The medal was conferred after PM Modi’s speech in the Israeli Parliament.

Recalling the uncompromising policy of zero tolerance for terrorism of the two countries, the Prime Minister offered condolences for the October 7 terror attack and noted that there can be no justification for such brutality.
