Iran has claimed that it carried out ballistic missile and drone strikes on US military aircraft stationed in Jordan, saying several American fighter jets and aerial refuelling aircraft were destroyed while others suffered significant damage. The assertion came amid rapidly escalating tensions in the Middle East following overnight US strikes on multiple locations inside Iran.
