The girls' school in Minab, in southern Iran, was hit on February 28, the first day of the US and Israeli attacks on the country.

US President Donald Trump said Tomahawk missile is used by Iran and multiple other countries.
US President Donald Trump stated that Iran “has some Tomahawks" when questioned about claims that a US missile might have hit a girls’ school in Minab, Iran.
Addressing the query regarding footage that purportedly shows a US Tomahawk missile striking an Iranian military base near a primary school, Trump mentioned he had not seen the video but highlighted that the Tomahawk missile is utilised by several countries.
“Well, I haven’t seen it. I will say that the Tomahawk, which is one of the most powerful weapons around, is sold and used by other countries. Iran has some Tomahawks," Trump said.
The US President’s remarks came after a new video surfaced online showing a Tomahawk missile striking an Iranian military installation situated close to a school in Iran’s southern city of Minab.

The video, recorded on the day of the incident, was released by Iran’s semi-official Mehr news agency on Sunday. It shows a missile striking a building and sending a large plume of dark smoke into the air.

The incident gained scrutiny after a video surfaced claiming that a US Tomahawk cruise missile struck a naval base next to an elementary school in southern Iran, where more than 150 schoolgirls were among a total of 175 people killed.
Iranian state television broadcasted the image of the funeral of the victims on March 3, with rows of small coffins draped in Iranian flags carried through large crowds before being laid to rest. The visuals attracted massive criticism globally and called for an independent international investigation into the strike.
While Iran has blamed the United States for the attack, Washington has not formally confirmed responsibility.
According to Reuters, the US military investigators believe that it is likely that the United States forces were responsible for an apparent strike on an Iranian girls’ school. However, the investigators have not yet reached a final conclusion or completed their investigation, two US officials told Reuters.
