Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was moved to a secure location with increased security measures following the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut, Al Arabiya News reported, citing sources.
Israel's military said on Saturday it had "eliminated" Nasrallah after bombing Hezbollah's central command in the Lebanese capital, where the 64-year-old cleric was reportedly holed up in a bunker. The militant group has not commented on his fate yet.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran, "If you strike us, we will strike you."
