India has officially announced the list of 20 world leaders who will attend the India–AI Action Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 16 to 20.

The high-level summit, anchored around three core themes — People, Planet and Progress — aims to shape global cooperation on artificial intelligence. The gathering will bring together heads of state, policymakers, innovators and experts to deliberate on the future of AI governance, ethics, and innovation.

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaders from 20 countries are set to participate. These include:

In addition to these leaders, ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries are expected to attend. The United Nations Secretary-General and senior officials from several international organisations will also participate in the deliberations.
