A light earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale was felt in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County on Tuesday afternoon.

The US Geological Survey reported that the tremor occurred at 12:15 PM (local time), with the epicentre located nearly 9 miles west-southwest of Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach. The quake originated at a depth of approximately 6.8 miles beneath the surface.

As of now, no damage or injuries have been reported.
