Myanmar Earthquake LIVE Updates: Myanmar was rocked by two consecutive earthquakes, measuring 7.7 and 6.4 on the Richter scale, according to United States Geological Survey (USGS) on Friday. The epicenter of the earthquake was reported to be in central Myanmar, nearly 50 kilometers east of the city of Monywa.
The iconic Ava Bridge in Myanmar’s Mandalay collapsed in the quake. Several parts of Thailand also felt tremors of the quake.
