Punjabi Influencer Manjeet Kaur Dies After Abduction, Chandigarh Police Probe Murder Case
Social media influencer Manjeet Kaur has died at PGI Chandigarh while undergoing treatment for burn injuries following her alleged abduction from Chandigarh Sector 34 area. According to police reports, Kaur was kidnapped on July 3, taken to a secluded location in Morinda, beaten, tied up, and set on fire. She succumbed to her injuries on August 26. Following a complaint filed by the victim's mother, Kanta Devi, Chandigarh Police registered a case of abduction and murder against suspects Rinku, Shubhi, and Pinda. Chandigarh Police Deputy Superintendent of Police Gurjeet Kaur stated that investigators are probing all possible angles and examining CCTV footage to trace the full sequence of events leading to the crime.
