Oppo Reno 12 series brings Google-powered AI features, a premium design and cameras that work in both conditions.
Oppo Reno 12 series has launched in India this week and the company is bringing its premium design style, cameras and AI features to a new price segment with these devices. The Reno 12 and the Reno 12 Pro are powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and feature a main camera with OIS support and you get ColorOS 14 out of the box. The phones support identical features and support 80W wire fast charging speed.
Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro Price In India
Oppo Reno 12 has launched in the country for Rs 32,999 which gets you the single 8GB + 256GB variant. The Reno 12 Pro will be available with 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 40,999, respectively. The new Reno 12 series goes on sale from July 18 onwards in the country.
Oppo Reno 12 And Reno 12 Pro Features
The Reno 12 series is powered by the same Dimensity 7300 chipset but the Reno 12 is available with only 8GB RAM while the Reno 12 Pro has a 12GB variant as well. Both phones run on the ColorOS version based on Android 14 which offers a slew of AI features thanks to the Google-powered Oppo AI tech.
The Reno 12 sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. Whereas the Reno 12 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch quad curved AMOLED display with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate and 1500 nits peak brightness.
The price differences also give you 50MP with OIS + 8MP + 2MP sensors on the Reno 12, while the Pro moniker features a 50MP with OIS + 8MP + 50MP telephoto lens at the back. Even the front shooters are varied on the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro models with a 32MP and 50MP camera offered, respectively.
The 5000mAh battery supports 80W charging speed out of the box on both the models, but weight wise, you have the Reno 12 at 177 grams and Reno 12 Pro at 180 grams with a thin design. Additional features include IP65 rating, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
