Panasonic has launched its new Lumix mirrorless camera that is one of its lightest and compact model in the market.
Panasonic has launched a new compact full-frame mirrorless camera in its Lumix series for the Indian market in the form of LUMIX S9. The new mirrorless camera takes the compact award for weighing just 403 grams, making it the smallest and the lightest camera in the LUMIX S series lineup for Panasonic.

The Panasonic LUMIX S9 full-frame mirrorless camera body is priced at Rs 1,49,990, while the LUMIX S9 combo kit with 20-60 mm lens comes with a price tag of Rs 1,79,990. It will be available to purchase from the Panasonic brand shops, LUMIX lounges and authorised dealers across India.

The LUMIX S9 comes with a 24.9 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, similar to the flagship LUMIX S5II and is touted to deliver professional-grade image and video quality. The device also includes Phase Detection Auto-Focus (PDAF) for better subject tracking and Active Image Stabilization (I.S.) to mitigate handheld blur.
For stability, it incorporates 5-axis Dual I.S.2: 6.5 stops / Body I.S.: 5 stops and Active I.S tech. Additionally, a free-angle back screen is included for flexible shooting. The camera packs a 7.2 volt, 2200 mAh Li-ion battery.
Connectivity features include USB Type-C, HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and an SD Memory Card.
Along with the camera, Panasonic has also introduced the new LUMIX Lab application which is compatible with Ios and Android smartphones. The app allows on-the-go editing, as well as a new recording format, MP4 Lite, which is specifically designed for smartphones. Also, the users can transfer images from the camera to their mobile phones in less than 30 seconds through the app.
