During the visit, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for infrastructure projects worth approximately Rs 830 crores.

In a post on X, PM Modi also referred to the atmosphere at the rally in Singur as “electrifying” and said that the massive support for the BJP speaks volumes against TMC’s misgovernance and politics of fear.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi sounded the poll bugle in West Bengal’s Malda, with the slogan “Dorkar Chai BJP Sorkar”. He also flagged off India’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train, connecting Howrah and Guwahati.
