Nifty holds above 22,900; HDFC Bank top loser, falls over 2%

Sensex Today | Stock Market Highlights: Nifty 50 opened today's trade session 3,456.25 points below its record high of 26,277.35.

The 22,800 level has emerged as critical support for the Nifty, which it is looking to defend on its weekly expiry today.

Overnight, US markets ended higher. Asian markets were down in early trade today.

Bharat Forge, Sundaram-Clayton, Tata Tech, IREDA, Waaree Energies, Orchid Pharma, Awfis Space Solutions, Mahindra stocks, Patanjali Foods, Torrent Power, Zomato, Servotech Renewable are among the stocks in focus today.
