Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex opened today's trade session little changed. Nifty 50 opened at 23,674.75, while Sensex opened at 78,206.21.

Nifty 50 falls towards 23,500, ONGC, Shriram Finance top losers

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 ended the previous trade session 2,588.4 points below its record high of 26,277.35.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended near the flatline. Asian stocks fell in early trade today.

US markets will remain shut on Thursday due to the Day holiday.

Today is also the Nifty 50 options contracts weekly expiry. It is also the beginning of the December quarter earnings season for Nifty companies, with TCS kickstarting the proceedings.
