Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the red. Nifty 50 closed at 23,688.95, while Sensex ended at 78,148.49.

Nifty looks to build on Wednesday's recovery on weekly expiry, TCS results

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Nifty 50 ended the previous trade session 2,588.4 points below its record high of 26,277.35.

Overnight, Wall Street indices ended near the flatline. Asian stocks fell in early trade today.

US markets will remain shut on Thursday due to the Day holiday.

Today is also the Nifty 50 options contracts weekly expiry. It is also the beginning of the December quarter earnings season for Nifty companies, with TCS kickstarting the proceedings.

BHEL, Asirvan MicroFinance, DMI Finance, Manappuram Finance, Lupin, MOIL, Man Industries, Hindalco, NMDC, IREDA, are among the stocks in focus today.
