Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The markets appear resilient, trying to hold critical levels today. The Nifty is up over 50 points, rising above the 24,150 mark. The Sensex is also up, jumping over 300 points and moving to 77,200.
The market is now staring down at a third straight week in red.
The Nifty Bank is under pressure and has now fallen over 100 points, falling below the 57,500 mark.
As we move towards the end of trading in the month of August, one of the biggest focal points will be the Jackson Hole symposium that will be held between August 27–29, 2026.
Meanwhile, the US markets had a much better day yesterday, as the indices improved their standing for the week, with the Nasdaq index surging over 1.50%. Moving further ahead into this week, macro and global factors, along with company-wise outputs, will remain to movement in the market
