Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 has now shed over 400 points during its six-day losing streak. Having broken below key support levels during this period, including 24,500 and 24,200, the bears have now set their sights on the important psychological support of 24,000.
With bond yields across countries rising to multi-decade highs, the focus will be on our own yields, as well as the currency, due to oil prices remaining at elevated levels. Brent remains above the $91 a barrel mark.
On the upside, the Nifty first needs to break its streak of lower highs, by crossing and sustaining above Tuesday's high of 24,266. The Nifty Bank continues to oscillate between the lower and higher end of the 57,000 - 58,000 range. Buying has generally emerged closer to the 57,100 - 57,000 zone where it finds itself in yet again. Another block deal is lined up today in Aster DM Healthcare, while other stocks like ONGC, BPCL, Hindustan Zinc will also be in focus.
