Nifty may open lower; DLF Mumbai project sales cross ₹2,000 crore

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The final trading day of what has been another choppy week for India's equity markets has arrived, and despite the bears trying everything in their power, the bulls ensured the Nifty closed right at its 50-Day Moving Average.

That level of 25,058 will remain the key going into today's trading session. A major event from last evening was the India-UK trade deal, and as the contours emerge, we will keep an eye out for auto stocks, jewellery stocks, and alcobev stocks as well.

Result reactions are aplenty, majorly from Bajaj Finance, along with broader market names like UTI AMC, Mphasis, and Hexaware, among other names. The other major reaction will be on IEX, after Thursday's 30% fall.

The company reported results after market hours, and the management will have a no-holds-barred conversation with CNBC-TV18 at 9:50 AM today. Bajaj Finserv, Cipla, Laurus Labs, Shriram Finance, Tata Chemicals, and Bank of Baroda are some names reporting results today.
