The bulls are hoping that the earlier trend of not having follow-up buying after a strong session does not repeat, but looking at the handover from Wall Street and the rise in oil prices, the risks to the downside have emerged again. Brent hovers around the $90 a barrel mark, while bond yields in the US have seen a sharp jump after the Fed policy. 24,000 on the downside is key for the Nifty, while the July 17 high of 24,367 is the first hurdle to cross on the upside.
