Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty index, after starting the day on a cautious note, has surged with gains of over 110 points, trading above 24,850. The Sensex index is trading with gains of close to 350 points. The index is inching close to 81,100. Some of the big gainers include Tata Steel, JSW Steel, M&M and Adani Enterprises.
Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: The Nifty 50 index is trading with gains of close to 110 points. The Nifty 50 index is moving swiftly above the 24,850 mark. The Sensex index is trading with gains of close to 370 points. The 30-stock index is trading with momentum, above the 81,000 mark.
The Nifty Bank is on the rise, jumping over 200 points after being under pressure the last few sessions.
This positive uptick in the indices comes after a thaw in the India-US relationship following an exchange of positive comments between Donald Trump and Narendra Modi.
In the larger market, the midcap and smallcap indices are outperforming the frontline indices. The Nifty Midcap 100 index is up over 420 points. The Nifty Smallcap index is up 0.50%
Some of the major gainers at bourse among the Nifty 500 stocks include Cohance Lifesciences, Ola Electric, Aditya Birla Fashion, TBO Tek, Bharat Forge and GMDC among others.
