Congress MP Imran Masood on Monday said the newly-amended Waqf law will be repealed if his party comes back to power at the Centre.

His remarks came as protests continue over the Waqf law, which was notified last week.

“The day we came into power, we will root out this bill in one hour only. Today they are targeting Muslims, tomorrow they will attack some one else…you should wish that we come back to power," Masood said.
