US President Donald Trump on Sunday predicted that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer would step down, blaming him for his failures on immigration and energy policy.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, Trump said: "Keir Starmer will resign as Prime Minister of The United Kingdom."
"He failed badly on two very important subjects- IMMIGRATION AND ENERGY (OPEN NORTH SEA OIL!). I wish him well!" Trump added.
The comments came after the BBC reported that Starmer could set out a timetable for his departure as early as Monday. According to the report, several government insiders believe the UK Prime Minister may soon announce plans to step down as pressure mounts within his administration.
