Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha on Wednesday hailed Operation Sindoor– India’s strikes on terror sites in Pakistan and PoK— at a global stage and categorically warned that India is all for peace but would give a befitting reply if anyone tries to tinker with the peace within the country and hurt its people.
While speaking at the Asian Leadership Conference in South Korea, the Rajya Sabha MP said that the military strikes has sent a clear message that India will strike deep to dismantle terror safe havens.
In the event where global leaders and delegates from 47 countries came, Chadha remembered the 26 tourists who were killed in a ghastly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam last month and spoke about Operation Sindoor, India’s counterstrike to the attack.
“As we mourn the loss of lives, India has emerged as a decisive, resolute nation demonstrating a paradigm shift in the way we deal with terrorists, terror infrastructure and rogue nations. And what Indian government, the Indian Armed Forces demonstrated in the form of a military operation called Operation Sindoor was that we are all for peace but if you try and tinker with the peace within our country and cause injury and death to our people, we will not spare the terrorist infrastructure wherever it may be," he said.

He further hailed the operation as proof that India can strike deep and dismantle terror safe havens and emphasised the need for global solidarity in the fight against terrorism.
“Operation Sindoor has sent a loud and clear message. India will strike deep and dismantle terror safe havens. We must come together to ensure that such infrastructure finds no shelter anywhere in the world," he said.
Chadha further said that India has demonstrated unprecedented resolve in responding to terror threats and “Zero tolerance is India’s new doctrine" and also called for global unity for a front against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
Echoing India’s dual legacy of peace and courage, the Rajya Sabha MP reiterated that India believes in peace but again, won’t bow down to terrorism.
“We come from the land of Mahatma Gandhi, who taught us non-violence and peace. But we also come from the land of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose, who shook the very foundations of the British Empire during colonial rule."
Sharing the clipping on social media, Chadha wrote, “Time now for all of us to form a Global Alliance Against Terror: India believes terrorism anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere."
Operation Sindoor
India launched “precision strikes" under Operation Sindoor on nine terror targets in Pakistan and PoK following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. The strikes killed at least 10 family members of JeM chief Masood Azhar and four close aides.
The sites targeted were the Pakistani bases at Rafiqui (Shorkot, Jhang), Murid (Chakwal), Nur Khan (Chaklala, Rawalpindi) Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and Chunian (Kasur). In the strikes, the air bases in Skardu, Bholari, Jacobabad and Sargodha suffered extensive damage.
