US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has urged Pakistan ‘immediate de-escalation’ from India, reported Arab News. The warning came as Pakistan launched loitering munitions targeting multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir, including Jammu city’s airport.

The tensions have heightened between India and Pakistan after Pahalgam terror attack, following which India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ against Pakistan-backed terrorism.

Earlier, US Congressman Ro Khanna had called Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir a dictator. He had called on Islamabad not to retaliate in the aftermath of India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ that destroyed multiple terror camps in nine locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) in the early hours of May 7.

Khanna also called for de-escalation of tension between the two nuclear-armed neighbours.
