PM Modi and Benjamin Netanyahu shared a car ride to a tech exhibition after PM Modi addressed the Knesset, highlighting India-Israel partnership.

PM Modi In Israel: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu travelled together in the same car to attend a tech exhibition after addressing the Knesset, the Israeli parliament.
The two leaders were en route to a technology exhibition highlighting advancements and innovation, following their official engagements at the parliament. The symbolic show of camaraderie underscored the close personal bond between the two leaders.
PM Modi took to X to share a candid picture with Netanyahu seated together in a car en route to the exhibition.
“After my speech in the Knesset, Prime Minister Netanyahu and I are on our way to an exhibition that will showcase the progress being made in the world of technology," he said in Hebrew in a post on X.
Later, his Israeli counterpart reshared the post, saying, “We are moving forward together—and strengthening the India-Israel partnership in technology and innovation even further."
PM Modi’s Car Diplomacy
This is not the first time PM Modi has shared a car ride with global leaders. Earlier this month, PM Modi shared a car ride with French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Mumbai.
Earlier, he shared the car ride with his Malaysian counterpart, Anwar Ibrahim, following the former’s arrival in Malaysia as part of his two-day visit in the Southeast Asian nation, as both leaders headed towards a community event in Kuala Lumpur.
In December last year, PM Modi broke with protocol to receive Russian President Vladimir Putin at the airport during the latter’s visit, and both shared a car ride to the Prime Minister’s residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
He also shared a car ride with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who was on a two-day official visit to India last month, following their engagements in Gujarat.
PM Modi also received and travelled together in the same car with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, from the Delhi airport when the UAE leader arrived in the national capital on an official visit in January.
PM Modi In Israel
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day official visit to Israel at the invitation of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
On Wednesday, PM Modi addressed a Special Plenary of the Knesset in Jerusalem and became the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Israeli parliament. He was also was conferred with the highest honour of the Knesset — “Speaker of the Knesset Medal" — by the Israeli Parliament on Wednesday.
The medal was conferred in recognition of PM Modi’s exceptional contribution through his personal leadership to strengthen strategic relations between India and Israel.
Upon his arrival at the Knesset, the Prime Minister was received by the Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana and accorded a ceremonial welcome.
