Welspun Enterprises Ltd on Monday (February 3) reported a 13.4% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹77.5 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024.

In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Welspun Enterprises posted a net profit of ₹89.5 crore.


Revenue from operations surged 22.7% to ₹866.9 crore against ₹706.7 crore a year ago.


At the operating level, EBITDA was up 1.5% to ₹128.2 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹126.3 crore in Q3 FY24.

The EBITDA margin stood at 14.8% in the reporting quarter compared to 17.9% YoY. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.


Sandeep Garg, Managing Director, Welspun Enterprises Limited, said, “We have continued the momentum from the second quarter, and delivered the highest ever first 9 months consolidated revenue of ₹2,563 crore. This marks a growth of 25% in the 9 months of FY25 over the same period last year. This performance along with a consolidated order book of ₹14,500 crore gives us visibility of a full year FY25 consolidated EBITDA of ₹700 crore, continuing with the objective of 3G- ‘Growth, Green & Governance.’ We are excited to share that we are cleaning Durga Kund (Varanasi) & Pandharpur Vitthal Temple water the smart-ops technology which is likely to bring in a revolution in the way wastewater is treated."

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Welspun Enterprises Ltd ended at ₹600.55, down by ₹1.75, or 0.29%, on the BSE.
