Shares of CDSL are trading close to their recent peak of ₹1,989, though they are marginally off those levels.

Discount broker Zerodha has posted on social media platform "X" with regards to an issue faced by Central Depository Services Ltd. (CDSL) across brokers.
Zerodha tweeted that due to an issue with CDSL, investors and traders may have to face an issue with the authorising the sale of sale of stocks.
Due to an issue at CDSL across brokers, you may face an issue with authorising the sale of your stocks. We are in touch with CDSL to have the issue resolved at the earliest.
In the meantime, you can sell your holdings without the need for CDSL authorisation.

The discount broker said that it is in touch with CDSL to resolve the issue at the earliest.
Till then, the holdings can be sold without the need for CDSL authorisation, Zerodha said.
Shares of CDSL are currently trading 0.7% lower on the bourses at ₹1,950.5. The stock is trading below its recent peak of ₹1,989.8. The stock has more than doubled in value this year with gains of 114%.
