Last week, Bajel Projects secured an 'ultra-mega' transmission order from PowerGrid for a project worth over ₹400 crore. Shares of Bajel Projects Ltd ended at ₹220.25, up by ₹10.45, or 4.98%, on the BSE.
Bajel Projects Limited on Tuesday (June 24) said it has secured a contract valued between ₹100 crore and ₹200 crore from a leading private company in the energy and power transmission sector. The order falls under the 'large' category, according to the company’s internal classification.
The project involves the development of a 400 kV gas insulated substation (GIS) and a 765 kV air insulated substation (AIS) extension. It includes two major components: The supply of extra high voltage (EHV) equipment — along with mandatory spares, tools, tackles, and auxiliaries — and a service order covering the erection, testing, and commissioning (ETC) and civil works related to all supplied materials and equipment.

Last week, Bajel Projects secured a major power transmission order from PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), acting through its special purpose vehicle, MEL Power Transmission Limited. The order falls under the company’s ‘ultra-mega’ category, indicating a value of ₹400 crore or above (inclusive of GST).
The contract involves the construction of a 400 kV double-circuit (D/c) transmission line, spanning approximately 138 km, linking Mahan to Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. It also includes extension works at the 400 kV Rewa substation, forming part of the infrastructure to evacuate power from the Mahan Energen Limited generating station.
Shares of Bajel Projects Ltd ended at ₹220.25, up by ₹10.45, or 4.98%, on the BSE.
