Brazilian police are questioning if adult film star Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known online as Anna Polly, who fell to her death while filming a sex scene, was murdered, UK-based Daily Mail reported citing Brazilian media outlets.
The 28-year-old adult content creator is said to have fallen while filming explicit scenes for her OnlyFans with two unidentified men.
Her lifeless body was found in the courtyard of an apartment-cum-hotel in Nova Iguacu, which lies in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro.
She plunged to her death from the balcony while filming a threesome scene.
Cops now have accessed hotel CCTV images but are still analysing if the fall was an accident or a crime.
Brazilian news outlet Metropoles said that Anna Polly was facing harassment from some of her fans and subscribers and was also pressured by them.
Authorities told news outlets that they are aware of the situation and have seized Alves’ phone as evidence.
The men present with the adult content creator during the fall provided conflicting accounts of the events leading up to the incident. According to Globo, they were questioned again on Thursday, though no arrests have been made.
“It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime. We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened," Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit said.
