Google Meet has been unavailable for thousands in India

Google Meet is the latest tech platform to face a massive outage in November 2025 as thousands have reported issues accessing their work calls on the app. Google Meet has been popular for offices which allows them to take important video meetings so when the platform faces glitches early in the morning on a work day, the complaints are sure to spike up the issues.

And that’s what we have seen on the outage tracker platform Downdetector which saw a spike in reports from 11:32 AM and peaking to over 1,700 reports in over an hour. 

Google Meet Outage: What We Know 

Many have reacted to the Google Meet outage on social media and shared their inconvenience. Many are seeing the 502 error message which hints at technical issues at Google which has made the platform unavailable.

The tracker suggests people in cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai among others are facing the outage but we are yet to see any confirmation or acknowledgment from Google about the problem or explain what has caused the outage. 

Even at the time of writing, Google Meet was not accessible using our Google account which means the outage has gone beyond 2 hours in the country.
