Hezbollah's deputy leader, Mahmud Qomati, announced preparations for an official public funeral for former chief Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah was killed in an Israeli strike on September 27, 2024 in Beirut but the group held off on a public funeral due to fear of Israeli strikes. In pictures shared by Lebanese media on Nov.27, Wafiq Safa appears without visible injuries, smiling while standing with two others in a cemetery. Safa was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department in 2019, which labeled him Hezbollah’s liaison to the Lebanese security forces. 00:00 - INTRODUCTION 02:04 - ISRAEL ARMY SAYS HIT DOZENS OF HEZBOLLAH TARGETS BEFORE CEASEFIRE02:46 - IDF HITS “HEZBOLLAH MISSILE PLANT” IN PRE-TRUCE BOMBARDMENT04:08 - IDF CONFIRMS OPENING FIRE IN LEBANONn18oc_world n18oc_crux
