The brand has launched its first flip phone, when will it come to India?
Infinix has been focusing on some unique products lately and the flip phone is a new addition to its lineup.
Infinix has unveiled its first foldable smartphone, the Zero Flip in the global market. Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, the Infinix Zero Flip supports up to 512GB of onboard storage. It features a dual-camera unit with a GoPro mode.
Infinix claims the handset has a zero-gap hinge and minimal screen crease for enhanced user experience. The device is packed with a 4,720mAh battery with 70W fast charging support and 10W wired reverse charging support.
Infinix Zero Flip: Price and India Launch News
The 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant of the Infinix Zero Flip comes with a price tag of $600 (Rs 50,000 approx). The company is expected to launch the Zero Flip phone in India as well. However, an official word on the launch timeline is still awaited.
Infinix Zero Flip: Specifications
The Infinix Zero Flip boasts a 6.9-inch full-HD+ LTPO AMOLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits of peak brightness. There’s a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and 1100 nits peak brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC and up to 16GB of RAM, which includes virtual RAM. The smartphone also supports up to 512 GB of onboard storage.
The Infinix Zero Flip sports a dual camera unit, including a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. The inner display features a 50MP selfie camera as well. In addition to that, the cameras support 4K video recording.
Similar to the recently launched Infinix Zero 40 series, the new foldable smartphone is equipped with a GoPro mode. This feature allows users to connect to any GoPro device and manage it from the ease of their phone. Moreover, the handset can be used as a monitor to review the video from the paired GoPro device in real time.
The new foldable device also gets Google Gemini, an AI-driven NFC wallet, AI noise reduction, and AI-assisted photography and video capabilities as well.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, JBL dual speakers, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
