Parliament Winter Session LIVE Updates: Jaishankar Likely To Brief Both Houses On Bangladesh, India-China Ties

Parliament Winter Session Today LIVE: As the winter session of Parliament continues, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is scheduled to speak in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha today. He will brief the Lower House on recent developments in India’s relations with China.

Jaishankar is also expected to address both Houses regarding the ongoing crisis in Bangladesh, where there has been a rise in attacks on minorities and the arrest of Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das. His statement is expected around 12:05 pm.

The government has also listed three bills for discussion today.

The winter session of Parliament, which started on November 25, will conclude on December 20. So far, both Houses had only brief sessions last week following disruptions caused by the opposition.
